Incumbent MS Attorney General Jim Hood (D) has now played the race card in his desperate campaign for re-election. Apparently if you join the same party as the president and support his administration’s oppressive liberal policies, and your opponent points that out, it’s all about race. You should be above that, Mr. Hood.

Meanwhile, Republican Mike Hurst announced the endorsements of 21 sheriffs, including a Democrat, in support of his campaign for MS Attorney General. The list includes sheriffs from Calhoun, DeSoto, George, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jones, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Leake, Lee, Lincoln, Madison, Marion, Neshoba, Newton, Pike, Rankin, Scott, and Simpson counties.
