LA black bear, snake drill, old data, DIY titanium suppressor, more
Louisiana black bear no longer threatened? The US Fish and Wildlife Service is making a formal proposal to remove the Louisiana black bear from the list of threatened species, which could lead to a hunting season. The process of delisting the bear could take a year if nobody fights it, but a local Sierra Clubber says he will fight it. […] Read More
Waco biker brawl
You’ve seen the news reports of the biker brawl at a Waco, TX restaurant over the weekend, resulting in nine dead and police saying it was the worst Waco massacre in memory. Apparently they don’t remember the Branch Davidian massacre, or just don’t claim it. Oh, and we also have a report that all nine dead were killed by police. […] Read More

They took the victim captive at gunpoint and forced him to open his safe, and then to drive his truck to an ATM and withdraw […] Read More
Protect Our Military Families’ Second Amendment Rights Act
Under the “Protect Our Military Families’ Second Amendment Rights Act” introduced in the US House by Rep. Scott Rigell (R-VA), military spouses would be allowed to buy a handgun outside their home states of record. Right now, only the military member can make such a purchase. The 1968 Gun Control Act does not allow others the same right. Here’s an […] Read More
Litigation – May 22, 2015 update
The US Supreme Court ruled 9-0 this week in Henderson v. United States that convicted felons may be able to transfer their guns to someone else rather than surrendering them to authorities, siding with a former US Border Patrol agent from Florida convicted on marijuana charges, and overturning the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. The court said […] Read More
