Safes vs. floors

I have no criticism of this approach, but will say that it appears to be a bit more than necessary. (I am also an engineer.) Note that the weight of most safes is centered forward of the safe center, due to the door weight. I once installed a house jack in the assembly so I could adjust up or down as needed over time.

Colt update

Bankrupt Colt Defense and FN America have been awarded a joint $212 million long-term contract to supply the US military with new M4 and M4A1 carbines with an estimated completion date late September 2020. I doubt it will be even close to enough to un-bankrupt Colt.
