Under the “Protect Our Military Families’ Second Amendment Rights Act” introduced in the US House by Rep. Scott Rigell (R-VA), military spouses would be allowed to buy a handgun outside their home states of record. Right now, only the military member can make such a purchase. The 1968 Gun Control Act does not allow others the same right.
Here’s an idea: repeal that unconstitutional restriction for all law-abiding citizens. Citizens have rights; the government (military) does not.
