Last week, a Columbus, OH woman’s son bought her a gun due to safety concerns in her bad neighborhood.
This week, the woman, a widow who lives alone in the crime-plagued neighborhood, shot an intruder multiple times with that gun.
The man broke through her front window at around 5 a.m. after attempting to rob a house across the street. After residents there forced him out of the upstairs window, he broke into the widow’s home through her window.
The perp was pronounced dead at around 7 a.m. The widow is apparently fine.
