CRPA actor

Controversial actor Steven Seagal has been appointed honorary board member (no voting rights) of the California Rifle & Pistol Association, the state’s NRA affiliate. Honorary board members (celebrities) provide CRPA with insight and help the cause of building support for the Second Amendment. Seagal claims to be uniquely qualified for the position due to his “experience with Eastern cultures and law enforcement experience,” and because, in his words, “I’ve risked my own life countless times deploying for these [freedom] principals (sic).”

(I don’t think playing a sailor in the movies counts…)

Vegas mass attack

A woman intentionally swerved her car, with a 3-year-old child inside, onto a busy sidewalk two or three times on Sunday, Dec. 20, and mowed down people outside a Las Vegas casino, killing one person and injuring at least 30 others, 3 critically. She is charged with murder.

And “for the first time in more than 60 years, firearms and automobiles are killing Americans at an identical rate, according to new mortality data released this month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),” washingtonpost.com reports.

So far, no calls from the left for car bans, FBI background checks for drivers, automatic transmission & power steering bans, or limited-capacity fuel tanks. Even “if it saves just one life,” as they say. I guess they are lying about wanting to treat guns like cars, like they lie about everything.
