Airport police disarmed in Chicago
About 300 certified aviation police officers at Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway airports are not allowed to carry guns and say in the case of an active shooter, they are instructed to run away and hide. Chicago Police Dept. officers at the airports are armed, but the aviation police officers are not.
Internal aviation department documents advise locking doors, turning off lights and remaining quiet and calm. Aviation police officers say that “We’re nothing but casualties if you tell us to run and hide.”
Well, that what the cops usually tell us.

We have a report that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has been holding specialized training for congregations for “all hazards, including active shooter incidents.”
