Military intelligence
More than 50 intelligence analysts working out of the US military’s Central Command have formally complained that their reports on ISIS and al Qaeda’s branch in Syria were being inappropriately altered by senior officials, who are turning their reports into “happy talk.”
Sounds like treason to me.
Military update
The Pentagon has decided against arming recruiters in the wake of the Chattanooga terror attack that killed five soldiers. Instead the Pentagon will “protect” recruiters from future ambushes by training them to “take cover or evacuate in the event of an attack.” (Run and hide.) It also will provide them with “movable shields or desk partitions” that they can temporarily duck behind to dodge bullets.
It seems the commanders worry that shoppers at malls, as well as educators, parents and students on school campuses, might be alarmed at seeing soldiers carrying guns.
Two points:
- I am alarmed at a disarmed “armed” forces. I don’t care about folks being alarmed about soldiers carrying guns. No one has the right not to be alarmed. The enemy should be alarmed, not pleased.
- The brass are evil idiots, apparently without morals or guts. Not exactly the kind of military leadership we need. Can we get Gen. Patton back?
