Anti-gun Mayor Johnny DuPree, of Hattiesburg, MS, has had his civil contempt charge “purged” (swept under the rug), and a civil suit filed over his appointments of city department heads and Municipal Court positions has been dismissed, because Mayor DuPree complied with a court order. Forrest County Circuit Court Special Judge L. Breland Hilburn did the sweeping.
DuPree is a member of former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Illegal Mayors Against Guns group.
