A staffer of virulently anti-gun California Attorney General Kamala Harris (D) was arrested last week and “accused of operating a rogue police force that claimed to exist for more than 3,000 years,” The Los Angeles Times reported. Brandon Kiel, deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice, and two others — David Henry and Tonette Hayes — reportedly face multiple counts of impersonating police officers and other misdemeanors for their roles in the “Masonic Fraternal Police Department.”
You can’t make this stuff up.
Harris is the Democratic front-runner to replace fellow gun-banning US Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) in 2016.
McGraw update
After country singer/actor Tim McGraw doubled-down on his planned July benefit concert for gun control group Sandy Hook Promise several weeks ago, asserting that he was only supporting the “Sandy Hook community” with the concert, we learned that the benefit only supports Sandy Hook Promise, and that more than half of the families who lost children in the 2012 attack said they have nothing at all to do with the group. Several families of victims are actively opposed to the goal of Sandy Hook Promise.
Now just as predicted, Sandy Hook Promise has endorsed a plan by a coalition of left-wing medical groups to push for a ban on the most popular rifles sold in the US and standard capacity magazines. You know, the kind that McGraw’s daughter Gracie has.
