Happens all the time. Another report indicates that a correctional officer in Fairbanks, AL, negligently shot himself and his 12-year-old daughter this week. The father was carrying a 40-caliber pistol in a holster on his belt when he and his daughter were going to PT appointments, when the man decided to remove his gun from its holster and transfer it to his jacket pocket. During the transfer the gun discharged, wounding the man in the arm and his daughter in the leg.
