Have you noticed that since lead shot was banned for waterfowl hunting, shotshell loads with large size lead shot (BBs and #2s mostly) have all but disappeared? It’s a shame, because those goose loads are great for varmints, predators and pests, especially when you don’t want the extra range of buckshot sizes. There are Hevi-Shot type alternatives, but they’re pretty pricey for shooting varmints.
